Another First Birthday!

Monday was our little Baby MIT's first birthday. I can't belive she is already this old!!! It seems like yesterday that she was born in our living room. I remember that evening very clearly. The midwives came at about two o'clock, I watched the children until they went to bed, and by eleven PM that night we had a little new born baby to love on. And now...well, now we have a talker, walker, climber and another member of the little's gang. She doesn't seem like our teensy-weensy babe at all! It's amazing how much babies change in such a short amount of time.

Of course, with the birthday came cake. It was a super fun one to do! I love the scrapbook-y look to it. :)

Yes! I did get to make the cake. It was my first time using the little fondant pattern tool, which I loved. :) The quilted pattern I did on the light pink strips reminded me of Quilted Northern toilet paper. :) Just thought I'd put that little fact in. :)

It goes quickly, doesn't it? I know Arianah doesn't seem like a baby anymore. She's a walker and a talker and a getter into troubler :)

Did ou make that cake!?!?!?! I would love to learn how to make a cake like that! Do you think you could post some stuff about cake docorating? I do have some cake tools. and have made several.
I made a logging truck for my little brother's third birthday. This year I am going to make him a jeep, and then put toy Diego's on them. Actually, I'll get the advantage of getting to make two cakes! Isaiah's birthday, the one that I was talking about above, his birthday lands on Mothers Day this year. so, I am going to make a heart shaped cake with strawberry's on itt for my mom for mother's day!:)
Blessings,
Miss Hannah
